Memorial services for 74-year-old Vonnie Jean Dennis Clark, of Cadiz, will be at 1:30 Friday afternoon in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.
Burial will follow at a later date in the Old Bethel Cemetery of Monroe, Tennessee.
King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
A husband of 19 years, Leslie Clark, of Cadiz;
A daughter, Racheal Gore Murphy (Steve), of Adairville;
Three sisters, June Barlow, of Cadiz, Patsy Post, of Nixa, Missouri, and Julie Maggart, of Rock Island, Tennessee;
Two grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Darrell Coleman is officiating.
Clark was born in Livingston, Tennessee on March 5, 1949, to John P. Dennis and Pearl Johnson Dennis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Bethel Gore, brothers, Johnny Dennis and Danny Thomas Dennis, sisters, Margaret Colson, Margie K. Dennis, Betty Lou Jouett and Joyce Hayes.
She died Sunday, May 28, 2023 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
She was the co-owner of Sunglass Connections and she had previously worked as a quality and control Specialist for Tyson Foods. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.
