Vernon Crump, 62, of Cadiz

Funeral services for 62 year old Vernon Lewis Crump of Cadiz will be Sunday, June 4, at 2:00 pm at King’s Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery with military honors.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Sunday at King’s Funeral Home.

He was born in Cadiz, KY on December 12, 1960 to Esper Terry Crump, Jr. and Dorothulia Irvin Crump. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, niece, Stephanie Grant; nephew, Terrance Prince; Great Niece, Kennedy Cotton; Great Nephew, Traevon Grant.

He died Monday, May 29, 2023 at his home.

Vernon graduated from Trigg County High School where he was a member of the wrestling team. He was a US Navy Veteran serving in the Gulf Wars, a member of the Bloomfield Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Adult Sunday School Teacher.

King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
