Robert Kaminski relayed the words of former President Ronald Reagan to stress the importance of remembering during the VFW Post 1913 Memorial Day Commemoration at Riverside Cemetery in Hopkinsville Monday morning.
Community members were invited to join as they honored those who fought for the freedom of our country.
The service was led by VFW Post 1913 Commander, John Brame. Guest speaker Robert Kaminski, the Sr Vice Commander for The Kentucky Disabled American Veterans relayed the story of a World War I soldier that was shared by President Reagan during his inaugural address.
