Funeral services for 69-year-old Leroy “Big Thumbs” Martin, Jr., of Cadiz, will be noon Wednesday, May 31, at King’s Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
A son, Leroy Demore Love (Monike), of Hopkinsville;
A brother, Charlie C. Chappell (Lula), of South Carolina;
Two grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
He died Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Baptist Health in Paducah.
He was born June 20, 1953, in Cadiz to Leroy Martin, Sr. and Mary Sara Humphries Chappell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Nannie Mae Chappell and two brothers, James E. Chappell and John S. Chappell.
He was a retired truck driver, a member of the Second Missionary Baptist Church and he was an avid fisherman and hunter.
