Early Voting Continues In Christian And Trigg Counties

Early voting is underway across the Commonwealth for the May Primary Election.

Christian County Clerk Melinda Humphries tells Your News Edge they have two early voting sites open Friday and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Trigg County Clerk Carmen Finley

Trigg County Clerk Carmen Finley says early voting will continue Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Trigg County EOC located at 39 Jefferson Street in Cadiz.

On Tuesday, Trigg County voters will be able to vote from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the same locations that have been open for the last two years.

Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams says he expects a ten-percent turnout for the May Primary Election, which only features statewide positions. Only registered Democrats and Republicans can vote in this election. Independents will be able to vote on the General Election ballot in November.

There are no local positions on the ballot in Christian and Trigg counties.
