Hopkinsville Man Charged With Receiving Stolen Property

A Hopkinsville man was charged with receiving stolen property after a traffic stop on Goode Road in Christian County Wednesday afternoon.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped 35-year-old Anthony Mixon because the truck and trailer he was driving did not have proper registration.

The 2012 Ford F-550 service truck he was driving had been reported stolen in Christian County and the 16-foot dump trailer had been reported stolen in Robertson County, Tennessee.

The truck and trailer have a combined value of $30,000.

Mixon was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear and charged with two counts of receiving stolen property.

The investigation was handled by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime Unit Detective Charlie Fiscella.
