Two trucks were badly damaged in separate fires in Hopkinsville and Elkton Wednesday.
Elkton Firefighters say a portable generator ignited a cardboard box in the bed of a truck on South Main Street causing extensive damage to the vehicle around 11 am.
In a separate fire, Hopkinsville Fire Department responded to a vehicle on US 68 at Pennyrile Parkway around 4 pm involving a truck with flames coming from the hood.
No one was injured in either fire.
