Hopkinsville Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Trafficking Charges

A Christian County man was charged with drug trafficking after a traffic stop on West 7th Street Saturday night.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 20-year-old Jeremiah Anderson for his headlight being out and could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

After a search of the vehicle, a bag of marijuana, two digital scales, and a gun were reportedly located. Anderson was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and receiving stolen property (firearm).
