Man Charged With Drug Possession After Being Stopped Riding Motorcycle On Rail Trail

A Hopkinsville man was charged with possession of drugs after being stopped on a motorcycle on the Hopkinsville Greenway Rail Trail Wednesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say 46-year-old Karson Adkins was riding a motorcycle on the Hopkinsville Greenway Rail Trail when he was stopped and found to have no insurance or registration and was driving on an expired operator’s license that did not have a motorcycle endorsement.

He was also found to have a syringe in his backpack with a fluid inside that tested positive for meth.

He was arrested and charged with no operator’s license, no registration plates, failure to maintain required insurance, and possession of meth.
