A Hopkinsville woman was charged after she was allegedly found to have meth and drug paraphernalia Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they went to a home on Dogwood Drive looking for someone who had several outstanding warrants.
While at the home they reportedly talked with 45-year-old Erica Compton who had a glass smoking device on her in view of the officers.
Police say the pipe contained a crystal substance and Compton claimed she was cleaning her friend’s house and found it.
She was arrested and charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
