The owners of The Mixer in downtown Hopkinsville say the landlord plans to repair the building so they can reopen the iconic restaurant that was heavily damaged by straight line winds.
Heather Dawson, who owns and operates the iconic restaurant with her husband Graham, says they were on the phone with employees when the top floors of the building suffered major damage shortly after 10:30 Friday night.

click to download audioDawson says their equipment in the kitchen suffered damage due to the debris and flooding, but they have insurance to help replace and repair the damaged items. She added they are thankful the two employees at the restaurant were not injured when the damage occurred.
