Members of the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office spent part of the day Wednesday with students from Trigg County High School.

Sheriff Aaron Acree told Your News Edge, they had a blast teaching them about their K-9 Bolo, while showing what he is capable of doing.

Acree added the department put together a crime scene scenario and watched the students solve it while learning how to collect evidence and dust for fingerprints.

Acree said staying involved with the county’s youth is what his administration strives to do, and he thanked Trigg County High School for letting the department spend the day with the students.

Acree also thanked Trigg County Emergency Management for the props used in the scenarios.
