Man Charged After Todd County High-Speed Pursuit

A Clarksville man was charged after he led law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit in Todd County Tuesday afternoon.

Elkton Police say they attempted to stop 19-year-old Hykey Daniels for going 111 mph on US 68 and he fled turning onto Pond River Road, Allegre Road, and Sharon Grove Road before spike strips were used on Highland Lick Road to disable his vehicle.

He was arrested near the city limits of Russellville and charged with speeding, first-degree fleeing or evading police, reckless driving, no operator’s license, improper passing, two counts of disregarding a stop sign, and five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
