Lawmakers Discuss Priorities For Final Days Of 2023 Session

Area lawmakers are pleased with the progress of the 2023 Kentucky General Assembly session as they enter the veto override period and get ready to finish up the session on March 30.

State Senator Whitney Westerfield was joined by State Representatives Walker Thomas, Mary Beth Imes, and Myron Dossett during the Legislative Update Program that airs Sundays on WHVO.

8th District State Representative Walker Thomas says he is pleased to see much-needed legislation that will benefit law enforcement officials who want to access part of the retirement funds before they completely retire.
