Trigg County Honors FFA Advisors, Outstanding Youths, And A Well-Known Agribusiness

The Trigg County Agriculture Committee recognized the efforts of Trigg County High School FFA Advisors Karen Nolcox and Jody P’Pool, Southern States Cooperative, and Austin Cavanaugh and Olivia Freeman during the annual Agriculture Appreciation Dinner.

Trigg County Extension Assistant and 4-H Volunteer Leader Diedra Hite presented the 4-H Oustanding Youth in Agriculture Award to Austin Cavanaugh.

Agriculture Committee member Becky Marlowe recognized the long-time service and commitment of Southern States Cooperative of Cadiz with the Agribusiness of the Year award.

The awards are presented annually during the Trigg County Agriculture Committee Agriculture Appreciation Dinner. The featured speaker for this year’s event was retired Murray State University Hutson School of Agriculture Dean Dr. Tony Brannon.
