A Hopkinsville woman was arrested on a warrant for criminal abuse after an investigation into bruises on her child Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a child was found to have several bruises all over their body while being examined by medical staff. The child reportedly told police 26-year-old Ashalaya Busby along with a man used a belt to discipline her between January 25th and January 26th.
Busby is charged with first-degree criminal abuse child 12 years or younger.
