Reward In Place, Search Continues For Crofton’s Greenwell

In what continues to be an “extremely difficult situation,” the parents of Crofton 14-year-old Kylee Greenwell just want answers.

And for their daughter to be returned home safely.

Following a late Monday night vigil and going into Tuesday, Justin and Leah Greenwell confirmed to the News Edge that they haven’t heard a word about their child’s whereabouts in 6 ½ days — with Kentucky State Police and others on the case.

Leah has an emotional plea: they “love her,” they “miss her,” “no one is upset with her,” and “she’s not going to be in any trouble.”

Justin, meanwhile, said there’s a reward for her safe return — one that could increase over time.

Last seen around 1 AM March 1 at her Poole Mill Road home, she’s 5-4, weighs 105 pounds and has hazel eyes with brown hair. She was wearing plaid red, white and black pajama pants, a gray T-shirt and brown boots with maroon round the ankles.

Justin noted his daughter “took nothing with her” when she slipped out of the home — no money, no clothes that he could tell — and that there were “many things” he wished he could say during this tough, investigative time.

He said they continue to wait patiently on warrants for things like social media messages and cell phone data for details, but he’s afraid they “don’t have that kind of time.”

They just need her home, to know she’s safe and secure.
