Man Charged With Trafficking Drugs In Christian County

A Hopkinsville man was charged after he was allegedly found to be in possession of a large amount of drugs on Roselle Avenue Tuesday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a search of a home on Roselle Avenue led to the arrest of 39-year-old Tommy Powers.

Over one pound of suspected crystal meth, 6.4 ounces of marijuana, and five pills suspected to be oxycodone and psilocybin were reportedly found.

Powers was charged with first-degree trafficking of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and trafficking marijuana, meth, and opiates.
