Hopkinsville Man Charged With Meth Trafficking

A Hopkinsville man was charged after he allegedly fled from law enforcement during a drug investigation Tuesday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were investigating a report of a large amount of drugs being dropped off at a home on Park Avenue in Hopkinsville. When deputies confronted 30-year-old Stephen Taylor he fled on foot dropping a bag containing 15.07 ounces of suspected meth before physically resisting arrest.

He was arrested and charged with trafficking meth, first-degree fleeing or evading police, and resisting arrest.
