Hopkinsville Police Charge Indiana Man With Drug Trafficking

A New Albany, Indiana man was arrested after drugs were allegedly found in his hotel room on Richard Mills Drive Wednesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say after a search of a room rented by 54-year-old Kenneth Downes an AK 47, 20 grams of marijuana, 2 grams of meth, 4 glass smoking devices, 2 digital scales, and other drug paraphernalia was located.

He was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with trafficking marijuana, possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
