A Hopkinsville man was charged with DUI after a wreck on Country Club Lane in Hopkinsville Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to a vehicle that had overturned in front of the entrance to the Pines Apartments and the driver 40-year-old Johnathan Escobar had fled on foot.
Beer cans along with a boot and concrete mix were found around the vehicle.
Police say Escobar was later located and he was heavily intoxicated and had on one boot that was covered in concrete powder along with a cut on his forearm.
He was arrested and charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
