Hopkinsville Woman Charged In Baseball Bat Attack

A Hopkinsville woman was charged with assaulting her ex-boyfriend and another woman with a baseball bat and holding them at gunpoint on Pine Hill Drive in Hopkinsville Thursday night.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the home for a disturbance and found that 38-year-old Reneisha Wilson had broken into the home causing an extensive amount of damage. She then allegedly assaulted her ex-boyfriend with a baseball bat and another woman while holding them at gunpoint.

Police say the ex-boyfriend was struck in the head with a baseball bat and the other female suffered a possible fracture or broken arm during the assault.

She reportedly took the ex-boyfriend’s keys from his truck while at McDonald’s earlier in the day.

She was arrested and charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree burglary, and theft by unlawful taking.
