A single-vehicle wreck on Madisonville Road in Crofton led to drug charges Saturday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called to a wreck at the 14,000 block of Madisonville Road and stopped 37-year-old Jamie Bean and 51-year-old Marty Draper who were in a vehicle matching the description.
During the stop, deputies asked for consent to search the vehicle and reportedly found a pill bottle in the glove compartment containing suspected Adderall and Suboxone wrapped up in cellophane.
Deputies say Bean claimed he had picked the bottle up off the ground when he stopped for another vehicle that had run off the road.
They were both arrested and charged with unlawful possession of meth precursor, a prescription controlled substance not in proper container, and trafficking opiates.
