Nine students from Christian County High School and Hopkinsville High School have been named to three All-State Bands.
Chosen from Christian County High School were Joseph Anderson, Jacoby Brison, Dominique Davie, Zack Mitchell, Josh Owens, and Richard Ramirez.
Imani Dunn, Theodore Marvel, and Wyatt Williams were chosen from Hopkinsville High School based on their outstanding musical performances.
The students will perform at the Kentucky Music Educators Association meeting in February.
Participating in the All-State Symphonic Band will be Joseph Anderson on snare; Jacoby Brison on clarinet; and Zach Mitchell on trumpet.
Members of the All-State Concert Band are Dominique Davie on snare; Imani Dunn on flute; Theodore Marvel on tuba; Josh Owens on euphonium; and Wyatt Williams on trumpet.
Richard Ramirez will perform with the All-State Jazz Band on trombone.
