Man Charged With Fleeing From Law Enforcement

A man was charged with fleeing from law enforcement after a traffic stop on Vaughns Grove Little River Road in Christian County Saturday morning.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped 28-year-old Eguan Warner for speeding and the odor of marijuana was coming from the car during the stop.

After a search of the vehicle, marijuana and numerous Glock magazines along with restricted ammunition were reportedly found. Deputies say Warner tried to run away on foot during the stop but was quickly apprehended.

Warner was arrested and at the jail, he was reportedly found to have marijuana and suspected methamphetamine hidden on his body.

He is charged with speeding, first-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana, first-degree promoting contraband, and tampering with physical evidence.
