The Trigg County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a free Community Shredding Day, set for Saturday, September 24 in the Cadiz Dino Lube parking lot at 134 Merchant Street.
The hours: 9 AM until noon, and it’s open to individuals and businesses in need.
A maximum of 10 bank-sized boxes are allowed per individual and/or business, and all material is recycled and redistributed elsewhere.
Items that can be shredded include:
§ dry paper
§ staples
§ binder clips
§ file folders
§ hanging file folders
Items that cannot be shredded include:
§ cardboard
§ plastics
§ liquids
§ glass
§ prescriptions bottles, nor containers of any kind
§ other random metals
§ 3-ring binders
Rodeway Inn, of Cadiz, is the sponsor that makes this event free for everyone in the Trigg County community.
