The Barkley Lake Water District has issued a boil water advisory for residents near the intersection of South Road and Kentucky 272.
Water District Superintendent John Herring says the advisory impacts residents along At South Road from the intersection of 272 to the intersection of Business District U.S. 68. The advisory includes all side roads, including West Oaklawn Farm Road.
Herring says the water was off from 2 am until 6:30 am Tuesday morning but has been restored after the problem was repaired.
He says they expect the advisory to be in effect until at least Wednesday afternoon.
