As everyone is preparing for the beginning of the school year, the Trigg County School System has some reminders for parents.
Trigg County Primary School principal Lindsey Kinslow says online registration for all schools should be filled out as soon as possible for open house appointments.

Intermediate principal Brian Futrell says there will be a few new faces this year.
Kinslow adds it is important for children to start developing independence as they start school.
