Three juveniles were taken into custody after two attempted robberies on Anthony Drive and US 68 in Hopkinsville Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say just before 5 am three juveniles armed with a pipe approached a woman while she was going to her mailbox and demanded money then took business cards out of her vehicle before being chased off by another man.
In the second attempted robbery police say the clerk at the Circle K gas station on US 68 stated the juveniles struck him with a broomstick while demanding money before fleeing the area without any money.
All three juveniles fled on foot after the robberies but after a search of the area, they were all located and charged with two counts of first-degree robbery.
