The Barkley Lake Water District has placed customers in north Trigg County under a Boil Water Advisory until further notice.
Barkley Lake Water Superintendent John Herring says the advisory is for customers along 139-north, the Princeton Road, starting at Countryside Mobile Home Park to Blue Springs Market. The advisory also includes Hurricane road from Kentucky 139 to Kentucky 778, the Will Jackson Road. And the advisory includes Blackhawk Road west of Interstate-24.
Herring says roughly 50 households were out of water. The Boil Water Advisory will probably be in effect until Tuesday afternoon.
