Details Released In Drug Trafficking Investigation In Hopkinsville

More details have been released after federal search warrants for four homes in Hopkinsville led to four arrest for trafficking drugs Tuesday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say federal search warrants were conducted at homes on Hancock Street, Durrett Avenue, Jan Drive, and Park Avenue leading to three ounces of fentanyl, over four pounds of marijuana, over half a pound of powder cocaine, four ounces of crack cocaine, two pounds of meth, and four guns being seized.

48-year-old Steven Cager, 50-year-old Yolanda Hallinan, and 26-year-old Demarius Cager were all arrested at the home on Hancock Street and charged with trafficking fentanyl and marijuana.

65-year-old Joseph Trice was arrested on Durrett Avenue and charged with trafficking meth. Police say Shaveon Richardson was also arrested on a federal arrest warrant for federal drug trafficking offenses.

The Hopkinsville Police Department was assisted by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, Madisonville Police Department, and Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office.
