The Amish and Mennonite communities in the Christian County area combined efforts to raise more than $300,000 for their Haiti Mission.
Christian County Agriculture Extension Agent Matt Futtrell says the Amish and Mennonite communities held a benefit auction that included a fish fry on May 20 and a country breakfast on May 21 at the Christian County Agriculture Exposition Center.
