Deputies have released the names of five people injured in a wreck on Madisonville Road at the intersection of Kentucky 1682 Monday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a truck driven by Jeffrey Powell of Hopkinsville was southbound on Madisonville Road attempting to turn onto Kentucky 1682 when it struck a northbound car driven by Tenisha Walton of Crofton.
Walton’s car was then pushed into a van driven by Andrew Stites of Hopkinsville that was stopped at the intersection on Kentucky 1682.
Four people in Stites’s van Brittany Stites, Karen Billings and two minors all of Hopkinsville along with a passenger in Walton’s car Johnathon Walton of Crofton were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for injuries.
The crash happened just before 8 pm.
