Clarksville Man Charged With Indecent Exposure During Traffic Stop

A Clarksville man was charged with indecent exposure and possession of drugs after a traffic stop on Interstate 24 in Oak Grove Saturday morning.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 30-year-old Laarthur Robinson was stopped after he was seen crossing into other lanes of traffic and narrowly missing other vehicles around the 82-mile marker of Interstate 24.

He reportedly failed to stop for law enforcement when they attempted a traffic stop on Interstate 24 but stopped at the Flying J gas station in Oak Grove.

During the stop, deputies say they could smell marijuana and found marijuana and a handgun in the vehicle. While Robinson was standing next to the deputy’s vehicle he reportedly stated he had to urinate and went to the back of the cruiser and proceeded to.

He was arrested and charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain required insurance, second-degree fleeing or evading police, possession of marijuana, operating on a suspended or revoked license, and first-degree indecent exposure.
