Two Charged With Drug Trafficking In Oak Grove

A man and woman were charged with trafficking drugs after a traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Oak Grove Saturday morning.

Oak Grove Police say they stopped 46-year-old Phillip Stroud and 41-year-old Tanisha Dhaliwal for a headlight out and during the stop, Dhaliwal gave them a false name and claimed to not have any United States identification information.

After a search of their belongings, meth, cocaine, and marijuana were reportedly found. After taking Dhaliwal to jail police say she was found to have drugs hidden in her bra.

They were both arrested and charged with first-degree promoting contraband, tampering with physical evidence, and trafficking meth and marijuana. Dhaliwal was also charged with trafficking cocaine, and giving officers false identifying information.

Stroud was charged with failure to maintain required insurance. They were both found to have active warrants for their arrest as well.
