Hopkinsville Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Charges

A Crofton woman was charged after a traffic stop on Mclean Avenue in Hopkinsville Sunday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say 29-year-old Tenisha Walton was stopped for not wearing a seatbelt and during the traffic stop officers could smell marijuana.

After a search of her belongings, she was reportedly found to have two bags of meth and two previously smoked blunts containing marijuana.

She was arrested and charged with failure to wear a seatbelt, and possession of meth and marijuana.
