Cindy Campbell Named Interim HHS Principal

Cindy Campbell has been chosen to serve as the interim principal of Hopkinsville High School beginning July 1.

Campbell was selected by the Hopkinsville High School’s site-based decision-making council Thursday afternoon.

Campbell is a graduate of Christian County High School, and she has spent her 25-year career in the school system. She began her education career as a teacher at Holiday Elementary. Following a year at Holiday Elementary, she taught 13 years at Belmont Elementary before moving to Lacy Elementary as a curriculum specialist. She also served as a curriculum specialist in both the middle school and high school capacity.

She has served as assistant principal at Hopkinsville High School since 2018.

Campbell replaces Dr. John Gunn, who resigned earlier this month after four years as Hoptown High principal.
