Dexter Named CCPS Instructional Supervisor

Officials within Christian County Public Schools have announced a new role for Lori Dexter, as the district-wide instructional supervisor.

Currently the Crofton Elementary principal, Dexter will now be responsible for “identifying opportunities for improvement related to the district instructional vision, and assisting teachers in implementing strategic actions.”

She will also assist with developing, executing and monitoring the curriculum of the school system, while reporting to the CCPS assistant superintendent of instruction.

In a written statement, CCPS noted “Lori is no stranger to our district, and can serve more of our students in this capacity.”

Prior to being appointed as the Crofton Elementary principal, Dexter was a district instruction and behavior coach and curriculum specialist for middle and high school levels. She also was a math teacher.
