A Hopkinsville man was charged with possession of drugs after an investigation on Croft Street in Hopkinsville Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the apartment for a report of drug activity and located 24-year-old Michael Sahm and 27-year-old Paige Moody trying to leave the area.
They were stopped and Moody was reportedly found to have a syringe and Sahm was found to have 4 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, 1 gram of meth along with two pipes used for smoking drugs.
Sahm was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance second offense and possession of marijuana. Moody was cited to court for possession of drug paraphernalia.
