Elkton Woman Charged With Third DUI

An Elkton woman was charged after she was found unresponsive on Stokes Chapel Road in Todd County Tuesday night.

Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say Lindsey Heflin was found on the ground in the front yard unresponsive from a drug overdose.

Deputy Jonathan Knight who is also an EMT reportedly gave her two rounds of Narcan and she woke up. Deputies say she stated she had used heroin earlier that evening before driving.

She refused to go to the hospital and was arrested and charged with DUI third offense, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
