The Christian County League of Women Voters will be having its candidate forums either later this month or in early April in preparation for the May 17 primary election.
Donna Johnson with the league of women’s voters said they have extended offers to all candidates running in the primary election and awaiting their response.
Every election, the league offers the public forum as a way to educate and inform the voters in Hopkinsville and Christian County. Johnson said this year’s questions that will be asked of the candidates are being developed by a small committee of members.
She added candidates who appear without opponents will still have the opportunity to introduce themselves.
The specific dates for the candidate forums will be announced later.
