Hopkinsville Woman Charged With Trafficking Drugs

A Hopkinsville woman was charged with trafficking drugs and fleeing from deputies after a controlled delivery of a package full of narcotics on Kenwood Drive in Hopkinsville Friday afternoon.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they interrupted a package being delivered to 19-year-old Sholar West that contained 6 ounces of Fentanyl pills and one pound of meth.

West reportedly fled on foot as deputies attempted to approach her house after the package was delivered.

She was arrested and charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police, tampering with physical evidence, and trafficking meth and Fentanyl.
