A Clarksville man was charged after he reportedly stole his mother’s vehicle on Skyline Drive in Hopkinsville Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the area after 27-year-old Judge Jefferson took his mother’s car on Skyline Drive and hit a vehicle in the parking lot before driving off.
Jefferson reportedly wrecked the vehicle at Eagle Way and East 9th Street and was located by police walking down the road.
He was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking, operating on a suspended or revoked license, and leaving the scene of an accident.
