An Oak Grove man and woman were charged with possession of drugs after a report of a disturbance on Griffin Bell Drive in Hopkinsville Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the La Quinta Inn for 27-year-old Antonio Brooks Jr. who was causing issues with hotel management.
During the investigation, police say Brooks’s girlfriend 26-year-old Emily Miller was found outside of their room and was found to have marijuana in her jacket pocket.
Brooks was reportedly screaming and cussing when police arrived and kicking, hitting, and spitting on the door to the room.
Miller was charged with possession of marijuana. Brooks was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana, possession of cocaine, and second-degree disorderly conduct.
