A retired agriculture instructor and FFA advisor, community partners, and outstanding schools and groups were among those recognized by Christian County Schools Tuesday morning.
Schools Superintendent Chris Bentzel presented the Heart of the Christian County Schools award to the late Troy Goode for his career as the Hopkinsville High School Vocational Agriculture instructor and FFA Advisor.

Goode passed away last year on his farm in north Christian County.
Meanwhile, Bentzel presented the All In award to Christian County Farm Bureau Insurance Agency Manager Gary Keeton.
Keeton says he is glad to partner with Christian County Schools.

Christian County and Hopkinsville High School Bands were honored with the Succeed Award and Bentzel presented the Inspire Award to Martin Luther King, Jr, Elementary School.
