Kentucky Parks Commissioner Russ Meyer says the tragic fire at Lake Barkley State Resort Park could have been worse without the efforts of volunteer firefighters.
During a recent stop at the park, the Commissioner had a special word of thanks to members of East Golden Pond, Cadiz, Trigg-Lyon, and Montgomery Volunteer Fire Departments.
