A Trigg County grand jury has indicted a Christian County man on murder charges in relation to the deaths of two relatives in July.

29-year-old Landon Stinson, who had Hopkinsville address listed on the indictment, saw a true bill returned by the December session of the grand jury for two counts of murder.

He is charged with the July 3 murders of 76-year-old Sue Faris and her 28-year-old nephew Matthew Blakeley. They were found dead in Faris’ Cerulean Road home. Autopsies determined they both died from gunshot wounds and an investigation determined the three were related.

Stinson was extradited back to Kentucky from California in September to face a separate charge of first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Stinson is housed in the Christian County Jail under a $2 million cash bond.
