Due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday next Thursday, WCA/GFL has announced its trash schedule and alternative customer service contact methods.
Jeff Simms with WCA/GFL says they will be closed Thursday for Thanksgiving Day. He indicates garbage normally picked up on Thursday will be collected on Friday, and Friday’s route will be run on Saturday. He asks residents to have their trash out the night before pickup.
Due to changing staffing at the WCA/GFL offices, Simms provided contact information should any problems arise with missed pickups, broken toters, quote requests, billing issues, etc. He says the best option is to send an email to kycustomerservice@wcamerica.com and include your name, address, phone and account number. He says this is immediately received Monday through Friday, 8am to 4 pm and includes their billing, operations, sales, etc.
Simms says the second option is to call 1-800-323-7548 and hold times vary. Simms adds if you call the third option at (270) 365-6200 customers should prepare for longer hold times.
