A Pembroke man was charged after he reportedly fled from law enforcement on Dixie Beeline Highway in Todd County Thursday night.
Todd County Sheriff’s Deputy Jonathan Knight says Trenton Police attempted to stop 20-year-old Hayden Holland for possibly being impaired and he fled after giving his operators information.
The pursuit ended when Holland reportedly wrecked and overturned his vehicle around the 1000 block of Henderson Road. The crash caused extensive property damage to a fence.
Knight says Holland performed poorly in a field sobriety test. He was arrested and charged with DUI, first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, and first-degree criminal mischief.
