Anthony Manning

A man charged in connection to a murder at a North Kentucky Avenue home in October 2020 was sentenced in Christian County Circuit Court Wednesday afternoon.

Anthony Manning was charged with complicity to murder in connection to the death of 70-year old Calvin Taylor, however, he entered into a plea agreement with the Commonwealth in September in which he entered a guilty plea to the facilitation of complicity to commit murder and first-degree facilitation of complicity to commit robbery with each charge carrying a five-year sentence to run concurrently. Manning reportedly drove his mother, Larayna Manning to Taylor’s home which led to his death. She is charged with first-degree murder and is scheduled to go to trial in December.

Anthony Manning along with his attorney Shannon Powers appeared before Judge Andrew Self who read the amended charges and read the recommended sentence.
